House Beautiful's Kitchen of the Year, 2012

What do you get when you give the master of kitchen design, Mick De Giulio, a stable to turn into a kitchen?  This bit of rustic loveliness, of course.  From the wood clad walls to the array of cabinetry, hardware, and lighting all topped off by those ever gorgeous soapstone counters-- this is one splendid kitchen.

For more information, resources, interviews, before pics, and so on,
go to  House Beautiful.com  And for more tantalizing bits of De Giulio designed kitchens, go to his website at De Giulio.  In the meantime, here's a few more kitchens by Mick to gaze upon - total eye candy!

These upper cabinets are crazy,I could stare at them all day, gorgeous!

Mick started the craze for these beautiful combo open shelves of wood and metal that I so totally want in my own kitchen.  Never mind those fab Parisian style display shelves on the island.
Of course, I love all white kitchens, so naturally  I covet everything about this one below.

Mick also created these terrific hidden sliding cabinets, scalloped carrara marble side panels, etc., etc.  BEA-U-TI-FUL!!

Daily dose of Nola:

Have a fabulous day!!

Millie
