The Ultimate Design Goddess

The one and only Bunny Williams, interior designer extraordinaire, is our design goddess this week.   I have absolutely been in love with her work as long as I can remember!  Especially  how she combines southern traditional and colorful elements in novel, yet classic ways tapping into her Virginian roots.  Her work isn't over the top super hip  -- as in  here today, gone tomorrow.  No, her designs transcend time and are always chic.   Timeless.   Of course, she spent over twenty years at Parish-Hadley and, any design by the venerable firm is enduring, outlasting ite owners. Bunny left Parish-Hadley to launch her own uber successful design firm in the late 1980s.     She is married to John Rosselli of Treillage fame and together the couple are design stylistas.

Bunny has her own line of home furnishings, Beeline Home.  The website is filled with beautiful and unique pieces.

I know you want a peek!

Just look at this fabulous mix of shapes, colors, and textures...pure perfection!

Here's a sampling of the gorgeousness available at Beeline Home.

This is the equisite Athena Bench in cerused oak....

Want more bling?  How about the Hourglass table in silver?  Oh yeah, now that's bling-a-licious!

Imagine a pair of these ebonized and gilded Olympia

Étagère's on either side of a couch in a library...

with the Twigs Mirror hanging over the sofa...

And, this is the sofa I would have under the mirror, John's sofa, since it's Bunny's hubby's fave place to nap!

I personally love the Charlie Chair,  it reminds me of a chair in my grandmother's house that was upholstered in a huge floral design of cabbage roses - as a kid, I felt enveloped by their blossoms and my Nana's love.

Bunny points out that the low seat made it easy for her dogs' to get in and out of their favorite spot to curl up for a nap!  I love that a world famous designer lets her dogs up on the furniture!

Anyway, here's a sampling of the range of her beautiful designs, that are elegant, timeless, and very liveable, which is why she is the ultimate design goddess!
