Today, my favorite room at the heart of the home, and in my humble opinion, the best element in it! Growing up, the kitchen table was the center of family life as everything took place at that table...conversations, homework, games, debates and arguments over everything -- curfews, allowances, politics, lousy bosses, etc. It's also where we prepped food, dined, and shared our thoughts, dreams, and ideas with one another. Everyone knew their place and had their own chair.
I love how people are putting kitchen tables back in the center of the kitchen. So much easier for everyone to see one another and have a great conversation versus a kitchen island. Never mind a great place for family game night. Enjoy!
