It Must Be Baby Love!

I can't believe Aimee's baby shower is tomorrow!   The theme is Baby Love... because well...really, who doesn't love babies?  Here are some of the materials we will be using for the shower...pretty paper, hearts galore, doilies, flowers, pink string, tissue paper, and green ribbon.

I'll share photos with all of you on Monday because right now I am soooo super busy trying to turn all of these supplies into the beautiful things on the mood board for the shower! If you missed the post, you can check it out here. Did I mention I am also baking the cake? I seriously must have lost my mind on this one!  Aimee's bestie, Erin, is making champagne cakepops like these beauties:

Thank goodness for the help of such talented and crafty friends!!   Cross your fingers we don't get the six inches of snow that the meterologists are predicting for Saturday in the weather forecast!!

Can you believe it -- I woke up to 3 inches of snow this morning!

Have a great weekend!!

xoxo

Baby Shower on the Brain

 spearmintbaby.com

I can hardly believe that my baby girl is nearly 8 months pregnant, but it must be true since the invitations have already been sent and tonight a group of us met to work out the details for her baby shower.  Thought I'd share our inspirations with you today.  Here is the invite we sent out.

Inside was a little poem with a bookplate (that I have been trying to upload from my  camera without any luck this morning and now I am out of time! ) Because of course, it will be a book shower given that the happy couple had a literary theme for their wedding and their house is filled with books.

Yet, we also want a sweet girly tea party theme filled with yummy sweets.

Our color scheme is a range of pinks, grays, creamy taupes, white and a bit of lavender with lots of sweet white doilies...

Don't you just love those little grey pom-pons on the napkins?  Too cute!
I'll fill you in on more details as we work them out.
Hope you have a terrific day!

xoxo,

Millie
